Your written guarantee
Your quotation or contract states the guarantee period and cover applying to the exact products and work being supplied. Window Warriors is your first point of contact if a covered problem develops.
Protection explained properly
We explain what is covered, who provides the protection and which paperwork applies to your particular installation.

Applicable replacement window and door work can be self-certified through the authorised Assure Competent Person Scheme.
Three layers of clarity
A written company guarantee, an Assure compliance certificate and insurance-backed protection are related, but they are not the same thing.
Your quotation or contract states the guarantee period and cover applying to the exact products and work being supplied. Window Warriors is your first point of contact if a covered problem develops.
Qualifying notifiable replacement window and door work is registered through Assure. The scheme issues the relevant Building Regulations compliance certificate for the installation.
An Assure-approved insurance-backed guarantee is provided for qualifying domestic installations. It protects the applicable contractual guarantee in the circumstances and for the period stated in the policy if the installer can no longer honour it because the company has closed.
The honest version
The policy has its own scope, term, conditions and exclusions. The policy document is the final word on what it covers.
No blanket promises
Windows, doors, roofs, garage systems and repair work are different products. We state the applicable cover in writing rather than using one headline that may not apply to everything.
The written guarantee identifies the cover for the frame or doorset, sealed glass units, hardware and workmanship. Assure registration and insurance-backed protection are included where the installation qualifies.
Cover depends on the roof system, frames, glazing, internal finish and contracted work. The quotation states the guarantees and any separate manufacturer terms that apply.
Guarantees depend on the selected system, components and nature of the work. These products are not presented as automatically covered by the Assure window and door scheme.
What to keep
Guarantee questions
No. Window Warriors remains responsible for its own written contractual guarantee while trading. The insurance-backed cover for qualifying work is designed for the circumstances set out in the policy if the company has closed and can no longer honour that guarantee.
No. Assure covers qualifying work within its approved scheme scope. Warm roofs, new conservatories, roller garage doors, roofline and repairs can carry their own written or manufacturer guarantees, but they should not automatically be described as Assure-covered.
Contact Window Warriors first using the details on your paperwork. We will review the agreed specification and guarantee terms and explain the next step.
