Think of windows like building blocks

Frame. Mullions. Panes. Opening sashes.

We start with the opening, divide it into the right number of sections, then decide which panes stay fixed and which become opening sashes. That gives you a window suited to the room, not a generic pattern.

01

Fixed pane

Maximises glass area and daylight where ventilation is not needed.

02

Side opener

A practical opening sash for everyday ventilation and access.

03

Top opener

Useful for controlled ventilation, often above a fixed pane or another opener.

04

Mullion

The vertical frame member that separates sections and shapes the overall design.

Window styles

Start with the shape of your home and how the room is used.

We do not force every opening into the same pattern. These are the main routes we can build into your quotation.

White casement replacement window installed by Window Warriors

Casement windows

Flexible fixed, side-opening and top-opening layouts for everyday rooms.

Bow window installation on a brick home

Bay and bow windows

Keep the character, projection and extra light of an existing bay or create a surveyed bow conversion.

Full-house replacement window installation

Whole-house replacements

Carry proportions, colour and opening details consistently from room to room.

Replacement window with decorative privacy glass

Privacy and feature windows

Obscure or decorative glass for bathrooms, landings and rooms needing more privacy.

Two systems, one honest conversation

Deceuninck and VEKA Halo.

We offer two recognised uPVC profile routes so the product can be matched to the home, specification and budget. We will tell you what changes between them rather than pretending every frame is identical.

Comfort, security and practical design

A replacement window has more than one job.

Energy performance

The complete frame and glass specification determines the final whole-window performance. We confirm the chosen system rather than quoting one component in isolation.

Security

Frame layout, opening sashes, glazing and hardware are selected as one complete window, with the agreed security-related specification recorded before manufacture.

Ventilation and safety

Top openers, side openers, trickle ventilation, safety glass and relevant escape requirements are considered for the room—not added as an afterthought.

Glazing that fits the room

Clear, obscure, decorative and safety glass.

Glass is selected for privacy, light and location. Doors, low-level glazing and panes close to doors may require safety glass. Bathrooms and overlooked rooms may need privacy glass.

What we confirm

  • Room and approximate opening size
  • Fixed and opening sections
  • Profile and colour
  • Clear, obscure or decorative glass
  • Safety-glazing requirements
  • Trickle vents, cills and hardware
  • Access and installation conditions

Colours and finishing

Match the house, inside and out.

Available options can include White, Anthracite Grey, Agate Grey, Chartwell Green, Black, Irish Oak and Golden Oak. Dual-colour and premium finishes depend on the selected profile and may change the price.

We confirm colour availability against the chosen system before the order is placed. Samples and screen colours can vary, so the final selection is written into the specification.

How we price windows

Every part has a job. Every choice affects the quote.

We use an internal pricing system to build the real window you have asked for. The detailed figures and calculator stay private, but the method does not.

  • Size and overall shape. We start with the measured width, height and whether it is flat, bay or bow.
  • Frame layout. Mullions and transoms divide the frame into the sections your design needs.
  • Opening sashes. Fixed panes, side openers, top openers and more complex combinations are recorded separately.
  • Profile, colour and glazing. Deceuninck or VEKA Halo, colour, clear or obscure glass, and any required safety glass are included.
  • Finishing and site requirements. Vents, cills, hardware, standard fitting, trims, removal, access and any non-standard work are considered.

Think of it like Lego. The size gives us the starting frame, then each section, opening and specification choice builds the finished window. We review it, put the supplied-and-fitted scope in writing and confirm final measurements at survey.

Replacement-window questions

Useful answers before you request a quote.

How much do replacement windows cost?

There is no honest one-price answer. The total depends on sizes, frame layout, opening sashes, profile, colour, glass, access and finishing. We build those choices into a written supplied-and-fitted quotation.

Which window profiles do you offer?

We offer Deceuninck and VEKA Halo uPVC profile routes. We will explain what is changing between them and confirm the final frame, glass and hardware specification before manufacture.

Can I change the opening layout?

Yes, subject to the room, dimensions, ventilation, safety and any fire-escape requirements. Fixed panes, side openers and top openers can be combined during the design stage.

Do you remove the old windows?

Normal removal of the old products, standard fitting, trims and making good are identified in the written quotation. Unusual access or additional building work is confirmed separately.

What determines the energy performance?

The whole-window performance depends on the complete frame and glass specification, not one component in isolation. We confirm the relevant product information for the chosen system.

Which areas do you cover?

Our core coverage includes Teesside, County Durham, Sunderland, Gateshead and Newcastle, with selected work around York and Malton. See all areas and nearby districts.
